Choosing pastel as her medium, Lyn Asselta creates vivid, thoughtful 

images of places that are close to her heart.  These images are often

meant to make her viewer feel as though they've stumbled upon a place of

quiet strength and solitude.  More often than not, you the viewer are

able to step into a landscape that will take you away to a place

where you can slow down, breathe the air, and feel as though you

are surrounded by the peace and quiet of nature.
